Innovator of the contemporary tech house sound and Label Head of Hot Creations, Hottrax, Emerald City, Repopulate Mars and South of Saturn, Lee Foss’ ear for music is unparalleled.
In 2010, the Chicago native teamed up with Jamie Jones to kick-start Hot Creations, pioneering a new and unique sound born of its founder’s deep affinity with soul and disco records. The label boasts productions by some of the most elite names in the industry such as Andrea Oliva, Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed, Steve Lawler and more. In 2013, Jamie and Lee launched Emerald City, focusing on vocal-lead releases. Hottrax followed two years later, functioning as a platform for underground records.
Lee independently spearheads Repopulate Mars (DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Label of North America 2018) and South of Saturn, showcasing the very best in house and techno such as CamelPhat, Chris Lake, Michael Bibi, Detlef, MK and more. Its hedonistic interplanetary-style event series has conquered 23 cities around the world including distinguished venues Space Miami and Brooklyn Mirage as well as award-winning festivals Coachella and We Are FSTVL.
His achievements have been celebrated by top media outlets, some highlights including a cover shoot with Mixmag Mexico, guest appearances on BBC Radio 1 with Pete Tong and Danny Howard and a live set at the DJ Mag HQ.
